We had a great experience and we're so happy with our purchase. Can't wait for the delivery. Very nice and extremely knowledgeable staff who are willing to help you with all your furniture needs. The only negative is the wait period for your furniture to be built but that comes with custom furniture that is hand made. We will definitely be shopping here again.

Went shopping there in April 2024, was immediately impressed with the selection and quality of furniture. Went to other stores in the furniture mall but found nothing we liked as much as Amish Oak. The staff was very good, let us know they were available to answer questions but did not follow us around, no pressure on us. They even gave us bottled water! Furniture has been delivered to our home and it's great.

I ordered a bedroom suite and living room tables from this company. I loved that the furniture was solid wood and made in America. It is absolutely beautiful! There are options for the wood (not just oak and cherry) and stain in order to customize the furniture to your preferences. Delivery included setting up the furniture in my home.I had an incident with a bedrail a couple of months after receiving the furniture. Nikol, in Customer Service, was a delight to work with. I notified her of the issue along with photos. In less than three weeks, she had a replacement at my house. Now that is what I call Customer Service and a company that stands behind their product! I would buy from Amish Oak and Cherry again without hesitation.

We've been buying our furniture with Nikol's assistance at Amish Oak & Cherry since 2019. She has always been so helpful and is so patient with me as I sometimes have a hard time making a decision on some of my furniture choices out of all the beautiful selections that Amish Oak and Cherry has to offer. We recently moved into a 55+ community and Nikol has helped us with our furniture choices that we needed to accommodate the space we have in our townhouse. We have really enjoyed all of our beautiful furniture purchases: the guest bedroom furniture, the dining room table & buffet plus the end tables for our living room. Once again, we're very grateful to Nikol for all of her help "with a smile" and also for the top quality furniture that Amish Oak & Cherry has made for us. You all are awesome!

My husband and I needed an Amish built Windsor double bow king bed very similar to the Amish built queen bed we have had for 30 years but wanted a larger mattress. The bed frame had to be custom built to match the style, and also the same wood and stain color, as our existing other bedroom pieces. Price was a big consideration. Josh at Amish Oak and Cherry spent a great deal of time with me on the phone and then when we visited the store. He contacted the builder to confirm this custom item could be done, and the cost was reasonable considering other retailers I had contacted. Josh recommended a mattress location nearby. After purchasing the bed and mattress, I received updates on the production. Josh coordinated the delivery of both the bed and mattress after the bed was shipped to them for inspection. The delivery people were friendly and professional.The bed is EXACTLY what I wanted even with the custom specifications. I could not be more pleased with the customer service, timely communication, and product from Amish Oak and Cherry. If you want solid handcrafted furniture, I recommend visiting their impressive showroom in Hickory NC and talking with Josh.

Amish Oak & Cherry sells absolutely gorgeous wooden furniture! We contacted them specifically to buy a mirror for our dresser set that we had already purchased, and I saw on their website that they carried the same company as the bedroom furniture we had purchased prior to moving to North Carolina. They were able to order the mirror and get it into their store within two months, where we picked it up! I was impressed with their wrapping of the mirror when we picked it up, and I was also thankful that they answered our questions via phone later when we tried to figure out how to attach it to our dresser. Great service and we will definitely look here again for other furniture!

I bought a coffee table, dresser & 2-night table from Amish Oak and Cherry along with furniture from other store at the Furniture Mart NC.Josh, was fantastic during my visit to the showroom. He offered great guidance and suggestions & was super helpful in customizing my furniture.Crystal, was the best, keeping me updated on delivery & coordinating with other stores for consolidated shipping.( it helped to keep the shipping cost fairly low :D)Both of them made the whole process of buying furniture such a seamless & lovely experience.D & D delivery service were really great. They kept me updated on delivery date & times. On day of delivery, they were on time. On arrival, they were careful & mindful while carrying/placing furniture of my floors & walls. They also cleaned up after themselves leaving none of the packaging material around. Plus, they were so polite & courteous ( yes, it’s not always the case here in California :D)The Furniture itself is just " STUNNING". Its everything I imagined it would be and more. I am so glad I went with the hand-crafted wood furniture from "Amish Oak & Cherry". The finish of each of the piece is rich & looks beautiful; I especially love the slow closing drawers & the custom handles.I would highly recommend this store for your furniture needs.

When we bought our house we went to Hickory, NC to look at furniture. There were hundreds of vendors but Amish Oak and Cherry stood out. The quality of furniture was unparalleled. The ability to customize the furniture was key. Our house is 100 yrs old with all of the uneven halls, turning stair cases, small rooms and lack of closet space one would expect. We purchased 2 full bedroom sets and furnished a home office. We blew our budget and still didn't get everything we wanted. Seven years later we couldn't be happier with our furniture. We called back to see if we could add understorage drawers to a bedroom set. I wish we had done it the first time around but honestly we just ran out of money. This is my forever house and I don't mind taking time to make it perfect. Thank you Amish Oak and Cherry.

I'm a repeat customer for over 18 years! I love all of their furniture. Friendly, knowledgeable staff to answer all your questions. Highly recommend. When my furniture was delivered, it was assembled and in place in about 30 minutes. You will not be disappointed. I have received so many compliments over the years on the pieces we have bought from them. Nikol was great to work with when ordering my bedroom furniture. She was able to pull up my previous file, and although I had recently moved, she quickly updated my folder to my new address. Everything is in one place when I go back again to order more! I can't recommend them enough.

We are obviously partial to Amish-designed and manufactured furniture. When we found Amish Oak and Cherry in Hickory, we were elated to see the wide selections and the company's willingness to work with us. So, we ordered a bedroom suite. The down side is that it took 7 months to make the furniture and send it to us. The upside - which we will be able to experience for years to come - is the absolute best construction and detail work. We had a three piece 25 year old leather set and had worn through the arm of the love seat. Amish Oak & Cherry was able to connect us with the same manufacturer. The exact leather was no longer available but Nikol helped us find a match that was very close in color and texture.Due to Covid the delivery time was about 8 months, but Nikol was very good about keeping in touch with us with regular updates.It was very easy to work with this store and the quality of their product is outstanding.

We have shopped at Amish Oak & Cherry for nearly 20 years. The terrific service and the amazing Amish furniture keep bringing us back. Nikol (one of the Sales Reps) was terrific throughout all of our recent purchases. The rest of the team helped perfectly whenever I needed something as well. The quality of the Amish furniture is superb. This isn’t IKEA so don’t expect inexpensive throw-away furniture. These pieces will last for generations! Exceptional service and experience. We chose to have minor repairs to desk and credenza of the office ensemble we purchased due to lengthy, pandemic related lead time for new orders. Delivered and set up perfectly by two nice gentlemen. Work was very good and unnoticeable to anyone not aware. Chair was ordered and arrived as communicated. Amish Oak team was very accommodating on pick up options. Received a very reasonable discount for a large purchase. Nikol was especially helpful as were others. We were looking for a quality made coffee table and decided that since we had a previous experience with Amish Oak and Cherry that would be our first stop when we traveled to Hickory. We were greeted upon entering the store by Nikol and told her what we were looking for. She directed us toward the area where coffee tables were displayed and said, “Let me know if you have any questions”. She did not “hoover” in the background as we browsed the store. We found the perfect table and made our purchase and even decided to add an end table of the same beautiful design. Since we would be transporting the purchases home in our truck, I asked about wrapping the items in some type of material to ensure they were not damaged in the return trip. They had bubble wrap in the store and I asked that the items be well packaged to ensure they arrived without damage. We had other stops to make and arrived at the dock about two hours later. As I backed up near the dock, I saw Nikol pushing a dolly with the coffee table on it and she even helped me load the truck with our purchases. We arrived home with an undamaged coffee table and end table due to the fantastic care and wrapping. I could not believe the customer service provided by Amish Oak and Cherry. Wonderful selection, exquisite craftsmanship, and fantastic customer service makes this a place to begin your quest for enhancing your home.

We began our furniture journey with Amish Oak and Cherry in Jan 2021 and finished in Jul 2021. Seems long but it was during COVID and supply lines were greatly strained. We ordered several pieces from desk, file cabinet, and chair to living room couch, chairs and tables that had to come from several companies. Our dealings with Amish Oak and Cherry, and especially Nicole, were nothing short of outstanding. She continuously followed our orders and kept us up-to-date. When the last piece arrived and it was determined that there was a flaw in the manufacturing she quickly provided an avenue for correction. Once again, following each step in that process the flaw was corrected and the piece delivered as ordered. We would recommend them without hesitancy!!

We first discovered Amish Oak and Cherry in 2015 when we were looking for a new bedroom set. A salesperson in another store at Hickory Furniture Mart recommended this store when we told her we were looking for wood furniture in a classic and timeless style. I am so glad she did. We found our bedroom set here and since we have been back again to order a dining set and a coffee table and end table. Each time, we were so pleased with our purchase. We have enjoyed them for many years and would highly recommend buying furniture that will last a lifetime and more.

Hello, I am writing this review for Amish Oak and Cherry in Hickory North Carolina. My wife and I were in the market for a dresser and two nightstands to match our existing set that is 20 years old. We met Nikol one afternoon when visiting the store. Nikol and her team were fabulous in not only finding us the exact pieces we were looking for but they made them out of cherry instead of oak and changed the color and hardware to exactly match our existing set. We could not have had a better experience. The pieces are absolutely beautiful and we also bought a table for our kitchen. The furniture at Amish Oak and Cherry is absolutely beautiful. They are one of a kind pieces and the quality is exceptional. Combine that with their awesome staff and they truly have a recipe for success. Even though it takes me an hour to drive there, I will not hesitate to visit the store again as we change out furniture. overall, I could not be more pleased. If anyone is looking for a piece of furniture or a custom-made piece, you really need to visit Amish Oak and Cherry. Thanks for a great experience!

We are so happy with our purchases from Amish Oak & Cherry - the purchase process was so easy, and we were able to customize the coffee table to the exact size we needed! The workmanship is beautiful, and the love seats are so comfortable, our guests are amazed they are so easy to get in and out of. The prices were a shock, so much less than the other stores we looked at, about 25% less and exactly within our budget. We have found our furniture store for life!!

Loved the huge showroom floor. Tons to look at and consider. They had the table we wanted in a smaller size. Being able to see it, we fell in love with it. Ordered the larger size to fit our space. A wonderful experience. My family and I were shopping at Hickory Park Furniture and I wanted to look at the Amish store before leaving to admire their woodworking talent. A couple years ago, I purchased a dining room set from here that I love. When I moved out of my home last month, however, my movers and I had an unexpected surprise: the table would not fit out my front door. We tried everything we could think of and none of it worked. At my wits end, I "cold called" Amish Oak & Cherry and explained that I need someone to talk me through disassembling the table top. The folks who answered the phone were FANTASTIC!! They patiently got me to someone who could help and he patiently talked me through how to do it. On a day that was super stressful and more than a few things went wrong, Amish Oak & Cherry was amazing! Great furniture and terrific customer service even after a few years!

Love our new ottoman and am thrilled by the service from Nikol and others at Amish Oak and Cherry. Ordering was a breeze, and their prices cannot be beat. Our furniture arrived in perfect condition. Our leather ottoman was bundled and shipped with a few other pieces purchased at other shops in Hickory to save even more. We have purchased several pieces of Amish furniture from Amish Oak and Cherry. Our most recent purchase was a lateral file cabinet with bookcase hutch. And our previous purchase was a desk. Neither piece was part of a collection; not being purchased together I gave a description each time I ordered what I wanted. With a photo of the desk and the help of Nikol’s expertise a lateral file to match the desk was ordered. The result was a perfect match. One would think the two pieces were ordered and built at the same time. They are beautifully well- built with quality material, expert workmanship and will last for many years to come.I would not hesitate to “customize” an order in the future if I couldn’t find what I wanted in a catalogue or on the showroom floor.The staff is great- very helpful and professional. Shopping at their showroom in Hickory, NC is always a pleasant experience. The delivery service is excellent as well. I will definitely purchase from Amish Oak and Cherry again.
